  13. I'm a new visitor here. I have been on GEnie for two years, but they have
  14. decided to drop me. Well, maybe that's not entirely fair. GEnie was sold to
  15. Youvelle, and now it's Genie, but it boils down to the same thing, they've
  16. just about locked the doors (on Amiga users).

  18. I'm 41 years old, live in northwest suburban Chicago with my beautiful wife
  19. and three great kids, BGB, 16, 14, 10.

  21. I'm a member of the Ironworkers union, local 63, and I work for a fence
  22. company. I've been working downtown (Chicago) for over a year in the new USPS
  23. General Mail Facility. I've worked at Comisky Park, O'Hare Airport, the
  24. Manhatten Project Hazardous Waste Study site (Tyvek suit and all), the Federal
  25. Reserve Bank (in a vault), the United Center, Navy Pier, Soldier's Field,
  26. METRA Central Control Facility, and the Kennedy Expressway, as well as major
  27. hospitals, schools, hotels, public housing, and even movie sets.

  29. We have 2 A500s to use (since 1992), and last year I bought a 3000. The
  30. little guy recently resurrected the C-128 to play with in his room. I'm the
  31. only one with a modem, and I bought AmiTCP and PPP. I'm waiting on my new MUI
  32. keyfile. I like Mosaic, and I'm giving THOR a whirl. Thor is the first news
  33. and/or mail program I could get to function, so I'm leaning towards
  34. registration there :) I support Shareware.

  36. During my GEnie days, I found many on GEnie's Starship to be friendly and
  37. knowledgable (sp?) and I try to emulate them.

  39. I'm only able to check in 2 or 3 times a week, so I'll try not to send old
  40. info, but I hate to never send anything, so please have some patience with my
  41. lag time.
